The choir world in Indonesia has experienced a lot of development, some of which can be seen by some Indonesian choir teams that get a lot of accomplishments on an international scale. Achievements like this should always be maintained and developed in order to maintain the existence of the Indonesian choir world.
Sapta Gita Jaya Student Choir has been formed since 1994, whilst their activity was inaugurated on December 17th 1996 that has been the medium for the interaction of the student in choir.
One of the routine activities held by Sapta Gita Student Choir Semarang University is Lomba Paduan Suara Sapta Gita Jaya Universitas Semarang that has been the medium for the Indonesian people that has potential in choir. 1st LPS Sapta Gita Universitas Semarang was held in 2000, and in 2024 we officially proudly present the 11th SAPTA GITA CHORAL FESTIVAL UNIVERSITAS SEMARANG.
11th SAPTA GITA CHORAL FESTIVAL SEMARANG UNIVERSITY is a choir competition hosted by Sapta Gita Jaya Student Choir Semarang University that is held twice a year. After succeeded hosting LPS 10 SAPTA GITA JAYA UNIVERSITAS SEMARANG 2018 TINGKAT NASIONAL, because of the trust that Indonesian citizen gave to us, we decided to host 11th SAPTA GITA CHORAL FESTIVAL SEMARANG UNIVERSITY 2024 that change name to 11th SAPTA GITA CHORAL FESTIVAL SEMARANG UNIVERSITY. After succeeding to be the medium for 57 (fifty seven) choir teams in Indonesia, we invite juries that are a practitioner in a choir that has experimented on a national and international scale
